I just checked the RawStory page and as I suspected the last sentence of the second paragraph says "believed the court erred" not "aired". Not sure how that happened if you blocked and copied.
Had Omar reacted with righteous indignation, or God forbid anger, it would justify the Republicans treatment of her (to republicans, not to sane people). She doesn't have the privilege of being allowed to show authentic emotion.
Thanos could have done a lot more good with a lot fewer deaths if he'd selectively eliminated problems instead of randomly killing half the population.
Perhaps one of our esteemed Members of the Press should press her on the exact date this incident occurred. As I recall from my January 6 Insurrection, Congress has shitloads of cameras everywhere. It shouldn't be too hard to come up with the footage of both her and Omar entering that elevator.
EDIT: In fact, that selfsame esteemed Member of the Press should insist on the name of that staff member who witnessed the event. That makes it even easier to find. It happened on the first day of his employment with her.
