I donated to McMurray the instant I heard Collins was arrested. He's also a Boy Scout. Literally: an Eagle Scout. And he personalizes the pro-pot position for the district by saying it's good for the farmers (it is!) As for Paladino...I remember when he was running for gov, Rachel Maddow opined he was not a real person, or was in fact a performance artist creating a (very) long-running piece. He's a piece of work, though if he does get the GOP nom, there might be enough loony tunes to vote for him. (shivers).
I agree entirely. A candidate should boldly promote all the progressive policies - and then stand up and say proudly that they are a centrist - because wanting good health care, education, sound fiscal policy, knowledgable foreign policy, and people minding their own business when it comes to cultural things is and should be the norm.
it's got such a cross section of demographics (I'm not an expert, but my mother grew up in Niagara County and I know the general hotspots) but if can get a strong vote in NF and Buffalo and split the Erie Co suburbs, he might have a chance.
Saying you are centrist, but having progressive policies. Now that is smart. Not only is it an invitation to moderate conservatives to vote for him (over the ballsout racist), more importantly it normalizes good progressive policy.
♪Round back the barn's the ol' Palomino tryin' to hide from Carl Paladino♫
He don't mount her right
She chomps at her bit

He rides her all wrong

Well, of course. Orthodox as opposed to Heterodox. He should have known.
Carl Paladino is a vile, vicious, lying piece of shit. This is from personal experience.

More like the Baghdad Bobs of crime.
I was thinking more of romper stompers or platform soles.

Only because he didn't understand what faigeleh meant. He thought it was going to be a eating establishment for lowcountry Carolina cooking.

The kind of guy you'd want to get stuck in a broken elevator with.
Fantastic. I thought Carole King was going to fly out of the balcony and land in Aretha's arms. Plus Obamas. *sigh*

He's swapped notes with Devin Nunes no doubt.
It's all projection. Also white privilege means *we* take responsibility.
