What we have learned is that our system has many weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and the next honest President won't be able to correct them all. But more important than universal health insurance is trying to correct our system: better ways to remove incompetent Presidents, outlawing gerrymandering, universal right to vote for citizens, strengthening the special prosecutors offices, making it impossible to hold up court nominations while requiring they be at least 'acceptable' from the ABA, and a dozen more.
