In case anyone else was wondering, Utah has 29 counties in total.

The guy you mention is actually a chemist who does pharma research. Why he is being braindead, I have no clue. As for how the board gets there, each county commission in the district appoints one.

One of the others, the vice chair, has as qualifications: retired heavy equipment mechanic, Shriner, Rotarian. I gave both of them Dishonorable Mentions at the herman cain medal. Passed 100 awards over the weekend.

I got the farts so bad from the gummy supplements that my cow-orkers (old joke) were suffering.

My mother was asking us to fly through two of the busiest airports in the country for a family birthday party. She is on oxygen and flew up from Florida.

San Francisco seems to be doing it right, somehow. https://enewspaper.latimes....

san francisco is slowly reopening. those who can continue to work from home and school is still held on line. outdoor haircuts were allowed some weeks ago, restaurants have been able to operate at 25% capacity for a couple of weeks, and movie theaters are now having their turn, also at 25% (though i can't imagine i'd feel comfortable going).

in my corner of san francisco (presidio-richmond district), everyone wears a mask whenever they leave their homes. not wearing one would be like not wearing pants: likely to get you noticed, and not in a nice way.

Good to see that confirmed. The people who say it is safer because it mutated in a safer strain are hilarious, they don't understand that all that means is that there are now 2 different virusses, and you can catch them at the same time!

IKR? OK, so let's say its something else that spreads exactly like coronavirus, tests like coronavirus, and responds to treatment like coronavirus, and responds to vaccination like coronavirus. Even if that were true it would change nothing about how we should deal with this "not-coronavirus".

If you can cut your patient with a scalpel and cut bits out to make the patient healthier, I see no problem with cutting his heart out for medical reasons (better off dead). It's a good thing real doctors don' think like I do.
