So WTAF does this posturing actually accomplish? Congresspeople say bad things about pharma companies in committees, journalists write bad things about pharma executives in the media, then some pharma PAC writes checks to Congressional re-election campaigns and it all goes away.
As Mrs. Rickyphoo just pointed out, time and time again, we see these price fixing motherfuckers, (my word, not hers. She's too much a lady), getting called out by Congress but in the end, nothing happens. No one goes to jail or even loses their job. Prices don't come down and the government continues to pay through the nose, as do people without government help. And Big Pharma just keeps getting bigger.

For now all the Democrats who were big pharma donation recipients are gone, including Beto O'Rourke who was one of the biggest.
