I think maybe we’re getting too worked up over Kari Lake running for Senate. She’s probably still going to be trying to get herself declared governor in two years.

Or she looks good on tv with a vaseline covered lense

Oh, Senator Sparkle Pony doesn't care. In fact, she probably sees it as fitting punishment for the rabble who refuse to see her specialness and how amazing she is.

And she's guaranteed a paid sinesure at a corp somewhere, I'm sure.

The chips will fall where they may. I’m voting Gallego. Fascists will vote Lake. Sinema can have all the “others”.

What's so utterly bizarre is that there is a *huge* number of Arizona voters (and in every state) who are so out of touch with politics that all they really know of Lake is that she is Republican, plus something vague like she 'doesn't give up', or 'has a lot of gumption.'

I think sometimes we well-informed liberals give Republican voters too much negative credit. A lot of them aren't evil. They're just stupid or utterly apathetic about politics, with the exception of responding to the 'duty to vote'. Because they're dutiful.

Kari Lake is more the Vuvuzela-style candidate

Wait. I'm confused. I thought Sinema was the one always wearing a nuisance suit.

Gallego at 31 percent to Lake’s 35 isn’t bad. Karli Lake is well known and far more visible than Gallego- right now. That senate seat is his to win if he raises his profile. Kari Lake is nuts and will lose if she runs for that Senate seat.

I think the question ultimately is: what to do in a bad situation.

The ideal would be to lobby Sinema to drop out and endorse the Democrat, but her ego would never allow that to happen, even if she was planning on quitting and becoming a lobbyist following her almost certainly doomed election.

So it’s either-lobby Democratic support to unite around Sinema, a woman who’s approval ratings are in the teensOr- run a real democrat, rally around him (or her) exclusively, treat Sinema like the unserious dilleatante that she is.

I know which way I’m voting

I put no confidence in any poll, anytime, by anyone. They are seriously flawed and are actually useless.
