The parents of those who object to school taxes should demand a rebate. Obviousley the education did not work.

Who are you to say what is "living right" and how people should spend their money? Do you never drink alcohol, never eat refined sugar, never eat saturated fats? Do you exercise daily? Are you overweight by more than 10 pounds? Do you drive a car? Has your DNA been tested for all inherited conditions such as Huntington’s disease and cystic fibrosis?

How would you feel if they charged you 50% more for health insurance if you answered "yes" to any of those questions?

They found one in my test. They removed it. I felt nothing, and neither did my mind, then or now. Polyps are normal after age 50, and the vast majority of them are harmless. Why should this worry me? There are too many other things to worry about in life that I have no control over, like drunk drivers, and living in Trumpistan.

I'm sorry your colonoscopy hurt. I personally would rather experience mild to moderate pain than have general anesthesia, but that is a personal choice. Not everyone has the same tolerance for pain, which is something I did not know until I was about 40. I have often wondered why that is so.

Frank Zappa died of prostate cancer. That's as good a reason as any to care about men's health issues.

I hear ya. I always try to convince the oldz in my neighborhood that they benefit from paying school taxes, even if they don't have kids in school any longer. But it appears they don't mind if the people who work in their doctors' offices are illiterate.
