Funny, how these Constipationalist scholars can't manage to figure out who regulates the militias in Article I, Section 8, paragraph 16 of some obscure law nobody's ever heard of I'm sure.

In Oklahoma, for example, Gov. Mary Fallin ordered her state’s National Guard to stop processing requests, making legally married gay couples apply for benefits on federal facilities like Tinker Air Force Base. Oklahoma in 2004 approved a constitutional amendment prohibiting giving benefits of marriage to gay couples.

...am I the only one that thinks if your state has a Air Force base named "Tinker" in your state(I'm looking at you Oklahoma) you should be the last one denying rights to National Guard members in same sex relationships?!

Sure, Mary Fallin, that works, as long as the next tornado disaster means that the gay guys get to stay home and relax.

Time to turn off the federal spigot to these states and see how well they do operating with only a 10% or so of their budget. Seems especially appropriate, given all the austerity whining, amirite?

...as someone who lives in one of those states(Florida-DUH), I wasn't surprised! After all, we were dumb enough to elect Jeb Bush and Rick Scott.
