I think that's what people are on about when they say children make the world better. They remind us that life is beautiful, and all that lame stuff. He was also very suspicious of sand. I recently saw online a meme about Rush Limbaugh and how nobody talks about him anymore because all his years of bile amounted to nothing that made the world a better place. I wonder if that’s what we’re seeing here — a realization on Prager’s part that his life of hate and anger is equally wasted, and no one will remember him when he’s gone.
I think a lot of kids have been brought up like Prager. (Trump is an example, and he seems to have raised his children the same way.) It would help explain why so many people, especially Americans, have embraced the politics of cruelty for generations.
