So true. Each state gets electors equal to its number of reps plus its number of senators. Since small population states get 2 senators--same New York or California--each voter in those small population states has significantly more electoral power.
Of course that would still be true if those sp states were Blue, but for some reason they just aren't.
Protecting small states in this way may have made more sense long ago when slow transportation and communication cut states off from each other. Now it just leads to minority rule.
