"The area's farms simply couldn't stay in business without undocumented workers."

Dok, this is the worst kept secret in agriculture, as I'm sure you know. True here in Vermont, too. Dairy farming now consists of milking every eight hours. Cows are gone through in 3-4 years and then are fit only for the knacker. No more farmers like my brother ( now retired) to whom the herd was always "the girls." He sold them en masse to another organic dairy man in New York state.

Milking, feeding, mucking and herding cows is hard, dirty and sometimes dangerous work, and locals don't want to do it. Mexican workers take up the slack, and they work fucking hard.

And because big dairy agribiz milks so much and so often, the market gets flooded and no way can smaller farms make it.

So..um...what’s the #metoo status on Lizza now? I enjoy his writing but I don’t think we ever found out what he did. The New Yorker fired him for....something but with his job at CNN they did an internal investigation and they decided to reinstate him.

Welfare to bribe the farmers into SingTFU is about 90% going to go to Archer Daniels Midland, ConAgra, Tyson, Cargill, Del Monte, Dole, as well as ancillary firms that are affected like Monsanto, Bayer, John Deere, Ford, Potash (now Nutien), Sygenta, DuPont.

This is on top of already so many billions in subsidies that we probably could not afford to eat if this blackmail by industry ever dries up.

Damn, in spite of the massive listeria recall they came out with a new flavor, CHOCOPOLITAN, dark chocolate on one side, milk chocolate on the other side, and white chocolate in the middle. How am I supposed to uphold my political ethics with that kind of temptation?

The Bee? You mean you really think that those people can READ? Those that can have not needed to read anything else since they finished Mein Kamf.

Oh god no, fascist right wing politics in the Central Valley is more than just a religion, they revere it more than they worship NASCAR. Besides, that district is gerrymandered according to attraction to the bovine species.

Correction, Gem and Elsie ARE the other cows, with an occasional tap on Clarabelle's udders, it is Flossy that is going to be really hurt by all this.

Internal polling by the democrats suggests that GOP voters in Nunes's district almost all know and approve of the practice of cow fucking since it is how most of them lost their virginity.

(as long as the cattle in question are indeed female anyway)

At least he does not have to worry about them violating their NDA's or having to pay $130,000.

But one Nunes uncle still has a dairy operation in California, so maybe Devin can still cownoodle with Gem there.

GEM? Oh Flossy is going to be pissed when she gets news of this.
