the actual stupid one Late Tuesday afternoon, the world received the news that Donald Trump had, with no warning, decided to fire FBI Director James Comey, the guy who was currently investigating possibly egregious collusion between him, his campaign, and our Russian enemies. (Or maybe just money-laundering for the Russian mob.) This came the same day we learned that a grand jury in eastern Virginia
Trump's such a pathological liar that even in the highly event that Comey bent all the rules and told him he WAS under direct investigation, Trump would still claim that Comey told him he wasn't. Kellyanne and Sean Spicer simply repeat Trump's lies or invent ones of their own to try to cover his ass.
There is something about human nature (or culture) that tells us that stories require a good buy and a bad guy. It is entirely possible to have two bad guys: Comey and Trump.
Unfortunately he succeeded well enough to win the election. Granted that our electoral system is over-weighted towards Red States and corporate interests and that voters are incredibly likely to tall for misinformation that defies all common sense, it is still astonishing that so many people could have voted for Trump.
Does Putin even have to have dirt on Sesseshions for all of this to have transpired in this particular fashion? Or even to be in any way involved?
I do not believe that Sessions has to be persuaded to do what he does. It may just be that, like Drumpf's many other minions, this die hard reactionary racist is living out his wildest dreams, and Comey was starting to get in the way of that, no matter how indirectly.
Also, too, I'd upvote for the term Confederaturd separately if I could.
I thought the both said they were not GRR MAD about how HRC was treated, but were finding his handling of "the conclusion" of the investigation troubling. this could mean anything from using his own discretion to not present evidence to the prosecutors because there was no evidence of a crime (which is a step in the process no matter what Deputy AG Hot Rod says), his "oops, my bad" or with her not winding up in jail. this makes much more sense than believing he thought Comey deserved to be YOU'RE FIRED for being mean to HRC.
I just had a quick image of Trump impaled on a stake! ......I need some brain bleach immediately.
I prefer Norelco, but each to their own!
A classic example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect in action.
Extra-long.
Maybe that's why he said on TV that Comey wasn't doing his job? /s

'Tis a fair point.
It occurs to me now that a "Sure, Jan" animated GIF would be appropriate here.
Thanks!
They hired Huck and Sugar Button's spawn. They're that stupid.

We don't think he knows either.
I stole that from the Muppet Show and I've been waiting decades to use it. Thank you for the opportunity.

Sounds like I'm the one that triggered a troll. Bernie stays in the closet. He can complain about the pro-choice crowd while he's in there.
