But instead, they completely stonewall it because they know that otherwise they will be crucified on the internet. Even their more reasonable supporters are often seduced by the anti-liberal rhetoric that keyboard conservatives employ to condemn anyone who dares violate one iota of "true conservatism." We're in trouble either way. Even if Hillary wins, there's going to be more than enough Republicans running around to keep the obstructionist plan going. And the angry white people who are convinced she's the devil incarnate, they're more than likely to make trouble.
I have said the same thing about all of these leaks coming out. If the captain of the Titanic had as many leaks on his ship as Comey has on his, there would not have been any lives lost. The ship would have sunk at the pier, not the middle of the Atlantic. Comey has already used that as an excuse for his letter to congress and any information known about any investigation into Trump is solely on anonymous leaks. Which may or may not be totally accurate. Instead of engaging in speculation about emails and accusing Clinton of ignoring policy, maybe he should get his own house in order. And teach his staff what the word "confidential" means. After he looks it up himself.

Comey called Clinton "extremely careless" for discussing information over unsecured means. He's currently violating Department of Justice protocol because he's terrified of leakers within his own organization.
