Donald Trump is the victim in all this. Minutes ago, Donald Trump finally made a new statement about Charlottesville. It must have just killed him, but he choked out these words: “Racism is evil,” Trump said in a statement from the White House. “And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”
It was my first political gathering ever, anxiety makes it hard for me to participate like I really want, I'm so glad I went, it's not so scary and I'm ready to be more involved. Great speeches by NY AG Eric Schneiderman, Congressman Adriano Espaillat and NYC Public Advocate Tish James.
He only managed to choke out his half-hearted condemnation of white nationalists because his staff strapped him in front of a TelePrompTer and only after he spent 15 minutes wanking about the economy.

And back in the day, when they were all coming in legally, the one true real type of American, the white white white Anglo-Saxon Protestant kind, even then could not stand migrants, no matter if they WERE both legal and white, because they were Irish and Italian and Polish and even worse in some instances, like from places that -- if you were ignorant enough -- you had never even heard of. Which I am not even remotely the first person to declare online. All Wonkette except trolling deplorable visitors thinks this anyway, but I tried saying it on the President Trump Channel and was banned in short order. Even though I didn't use obscenities and wasn't rude to anybody. That was so unexpected.Being ignorant clearly helps.

"This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in. That’s why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he’s going to take our country back."
I suggest "Oedipus Nazi," you can use it anywhere without being dinged for using the "Fuck" word and find out who gets the reference. It will not be screened by any sites using "keywords" to block comments using AI. Our dear Wonkette is much smarter, of course.
I am always amused at the tone deafness of people who condemn identity politics without realizing the politics, especially conservative politics, is strictly white-identity politics. Seriously, who can be that unaware?
You're right. The Ol' Pussy Grabber didn't strike out, though. He sent the message he wanted to send, and only after it was sent, did he say what he was supposed to, which sent another message that he wanted to send. You get no points of any kind for condemning neo-Nazi Klan-types when you are a racist anti-Semite droplet of sweat dripping off of Steve Bannon's ass and the message was pulled like from your ass like the doc pulls a cucumber lodged in your rectum.
I'm not saying this is the cause, I'm only asking, did this happen because Obama chose not to be a white American when he was conceived. It's important that these questions are asked.
The right wing base. The right wing "leadership" mostly knows what they're doing. I say mostly because now they have people like Gohmert who probably are that clueless.
But the rest of the GOP "leadership" knows that if they can keep their base riled up then there's less focus on what they're doing.
