i got stoned the other night and listened to and watched a concert video of Pink Floyd playing "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." I was mesmerised. It was, as they used to say, groovy. Anywho...Syd did not show up. I think he was at OneYieldRegular's house.
I'm angry, too. I'm tired of being told we need to understand them, and listen to what they say(which has a pretty good chance of being racist, homophobic, etc.). The part of me that is a good person DOES want to do that. To try to understand, and discuss, how they came to believe those things. To have a dialogue. But since I'm cynical as all hell, Fuck them. They aren't going to change. Their minds are as closed as a sprung bear trap. Fuck them. And, while I'm at it... double fuck the assholes who didn't vote.
I don't think Tillerson had international respect, he wasn't trusted as he was too close to Putin. He wasn't a diplomat or a politician and he doesn't understand the world when it doesn't relate to business.
