I recommend it because Ms. Gabbard did a great job on the interview. The intro not so much, but when it came time to ask the tough questions, follow-up the tough questions, and call him out on his BS, she did just fine.
I went down a George Devolder Santos rabbit hole today and I can’t even with this guy. My head was spinning and I had to disengage. It’s like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game but with fewer degrees and they all link up to the same exact shit that surrounds January 6th, Trump, Bannon, Flynn, and all the other fascists trying to sink the country. Money-laundering, criminal enterprise and Russian mob, ALL the grifting and corruption, and Republican PACs (I know, redundant). I even found a pic of him hanging out with Eduardo Bolsonaro (he posted it on his own GD Twitter), who is one of former Brazilian President Bolsonaro’s son who’s also in their government and linked with Bannon’s international revival of Nazis. The balls! He literally has outstanding criminal charges in Brazil. I would bet money that there’s a DeSantis connection somewhere, maybe through his cryptocurrency push. It’s like if the Jon Lovitz SNL character Tommy Flanagan were in “Catch Me If You Can” and then poorly parodied using bad Russian translations and MAGA humor.
I can’t even. And then Tulsi Gabbard went and did a competent hardball interview with him and now I’m giving up on trying to sort out reality from paranoid delusions. I should just start doing drugs again.
My daughter had a whole crisis after freshman year of college but worked it out with our rabbi and went on to become president of her college's Hillel as well as the university's student ambassador to Israel. Still in many eyes never Jewish enough, but she thinks all those meshuggenah yinzers can take a flying fuck at a sufganiyot.
Chris Walsh on Twitter has been digging through Santos's campaign filings, and he believes Santos lied on those, too. Like, did the money go where he said it went? Plus, are these even deductible campaign expenses? And did he really loan his own campaign $700k? ('cause if he did, there are a whole bunch of other questions about where that money came from). The grift, the lies, it goes on and on.
his family business with no apparent means of income "lent" his campaign over $700 thousand. Nobody in the GOP wants to know the source of those funds.
I wonder what the over-under is on four or five moderate Republicans in blue districts realizing that they have no future in the GOP, and that they might be able to govern if they flip parties.
