SW Florida here, with two monster eucalyptus trees too damn close to the house, so I share your concern.
Somewhat OT: Looking at all the non-commenty responses from so many fellow Floridan Wonky-tonks makes me wonder; after we dig ourselves out of the rubble, cut away the fallen trees and dry out our underwear, maybe we could organize a wildcat renegade Wonkette drinky-thing somewhere down here in America's appendix?
Yeah, it's the end game. The voting "irregularities" started getting noticed in the year of Gore's election, when the exit polls unaccountably turned out not to match the unexpectedly surprising GOP victories, and every election since then they've gotten more and more brazen and blatant. Now it looks like they're all-in on finishing the job. Getting the judiciary solidly under GOP control to prevent any sort of back-sliding away from one-party rule is the final key. The only way to fight this sort of blatant trickery is to go to the polls in large enough numbers to either swamp the finagling or make it too blatant for even the Liberal Media (TM-GOP) to ignore. Although at this point, it might be a bit late. Still, it's what we have, so it's what we must do.
Sounds good, but I can't go far, have too many animals to feed daily. Will toast everyone from here!Looks like we may be safe, but the season has just started....
Looks like we might be out of range, unless there is a serious jog in the path. It is a big storm, so we all could get winds or even feeder bands far away from the center./
Be safe! I've been clearing of the patio all day. From the west coast of FL.
The crazy Dominionist evilangelical assholes, want to bring on the end of the world, so they are doing everything to tank the planet.
I'm pretty sure he was Lying Asshole Spice.
Apparently "casting a ballot in an approved fashion" is now "voting fraud"Only if the vote is for a Democrat.

I too take comfort in knowing that the earth will still be here, long after we're gone.
Funny how that always seems to be the case.
Republicans.

I hear New Orleans has some prime plots available. Freshly washed out.
This is why I believe in paper trails.
This is election fraud. Big difference.

You can't do mail-in/absentee voting in Texas unless you're actually absent from the state and/or legally disabled.
