About six weeks ago, we wrote a completely unfunny post about a botched execution in Oklahoma in which Clayton Lockett died a lengthy and agonizing death because the whole affair was basically fueled by Mystery Death Drug. States have begun using versions of Mystery Death Drug because overseas manufacturers have refused to supply the key ingredient, basically saying "naw mang, we are not going to sell you that stuff, America, because you just keep killing people with it." We should have known that little things like a horrible death and the lack of a medically sound method would not stand in the way of the state getting its kill on.
Hey, killing them is healthcare! There are drugs involved, hypodermics, IVs, and the poor guy will never again suffer from the heartbreak of psoriasis.
Well, that's true. Having bought pentobarbital on occasion for our lab to euthanize animals, i can attest to it being very cheap. I guess paying enough for a US company to manufacture it would require raising taxes and we can't have that. True fact: I was doing my postdoc in a Downtown Area of a Very Large City and was sent to the attached hospital to get pentobarbital. This involved signature, more signature, locked door, locked cabinet, etc etc…and then I was given a large bottle of injectable pentobarbital, clearly labelled, in a transparent plastic bag to carry out onto the street.
I'm pretty sure that the right-wingers are convinced that there are only two amendments: A version of the Second that omits the reference to "well-regulated" and a version of the first that specifies freedom to say whatever the right-wingers agree with.
They really should just bring back the guillotine. It's only tough on the witnesses -- and in some states I think that's not much of an issue.

From all the evidence, it merely shuts down the brain's higher functions.
Since your example is rather dark, it must be one of the 'urban' variety, otherwise known as a geoduck metro.

Growing up in Atlanta, I often heard it called "the city too busy to hate." Guess they found the time.
I see this as a job for Vince. Slapchop should work just fine as a name.
UC Santa Cruz Libel!
I was gonna go with Decapper, but I like yours better.
Kind of like popping bubble wrap?
A new job opportunity for Paul Ryan.
Guillo-matic! From Ronco!
And we know most of them are guilty because most of them are blah.
