Is there a website or email where I can, very politely but in no uncertain terms, tell this dipshit to shove his spoiler campaign up his goddamned ass and fuck the fuck off? (Jk, I wasn’t going to be polite.)

Way too harsh on Rep. Dean Phillips. He’s not an RFK Jr. or Marianne Williamson. He’s praised President Biden extensively, but if you don’t think the age thing is a significant issue that must be addressed and tested, then you’re living in a jolly La-La Land. I don’t care, but the American people do.

The worst Phillips could do is lure the President into a debate or two, before the big general election (that he’s currently stumbling on, to a sex-offending, multi- indicted fascist).

He's a nobody funded by Republicans. The ONLY thing he can possibly achieve is weakening Biden ahead of the General.

“we can smell victory from here”

Smells like Dean spirit.

I predicted the day this dickhead confirmed he was running that he'd spit the dummy after a while, whining that the DNC was unfair to him, and run on the No Labels ticket.

Not if Manchin gets there first.

Let Phillips and Manchin fight for the No Labels nomination. It'll give the idiots in the MSM something to chase while President Biden kicks ass, and TFG is tried, convicted and imprisoned.

Bernie Sanders was a real candidate with a real message that was different, thorough, and had a proper place in the Democratic party. His ideas were interesting and compelling, and worth discussing. None of these other fools have a message of their own that makes any sense. It's like the Republican party platform: it's literally a blank sheet of paper, by definition.

Since I live in a congressional district that features most of my least favorite cities in the Twin City metro (they couldn't figure out how to squeeze Woodbury in), I've been content to have this empty suit with a D by his name as my Representative, but now, someone needs to primary his sorry ass.

Looks like the greater Twin Cities gets 3-5 House seats, depending on how you count. Our whole state of VT gets only one! It was Peter Welch, who moved on up when Leahy retired, and now it's Becca Balint, who's doing great.

No, it's just the "I tried to do the right thing but the bastards cancelled me" act in preparation for his third party run.

The only thing of even modest interest is whether these people ever believe anything they're saying. "Primarying" the incumbent never strengthens the incumbent.

Isn't being primaried the big MAGA threat to incumbent elected allegedly moderate Republicans?

I honestly never hear any big gripes about Biden in real life.

At this point, Biden doesn't have any big-name opponents running against him within the Democratic Party. The big fear would be something like Ted Kennedy's primary battle with Jimmy Carter in 1980. That really hurt Carter. He might have lost anyhow for other reasons, but still....
