I laid pipe. The best pipe. Bigly pipe. Some people say, so unfair, small pipe. That's why we need reform. About pipe. My pipe. To sue. Over pipe. Tremendous pipe. Make America greatly piped again. - The Pied Piper of Hamagain.

What? Amy Goodman walks and our beloved Shailene Woodley will have to suffer the horrors of oppression as if she were living in some knockoff of the Hunger Games?

Where is the justice?

Dogs biting protesters doesn't get prosecuted because it would violate the dogs' rights of, I dunno, free association or something.

Are they cold? Perhaps the oil company could hand out nice warm blankets. You know, like the ones they gave the Cherokee back in the day.

We have a well-known birther judge here, Gary Kreep, who, according today's legal paper, the Daily Transcript, is in hot water for procedural violations, campaign finance "misreporting" and being a generally great guy who has said things like: "We got all kinds of very attractive, young [public defenders] around here.” And β€œSpeaking of prostitution, here’s Ms. Westfall” referring to a deputy city attorney. And he once asked a woman accused of prostitution: β€œIs it you like the money? Or you just like the action.” Sadly, his term isn’t up for 2 more years but formal charges have been brought by the Commission on Judicial Performance.

What do you expect from people so oblivious that they once referred to themselves as "Teabaggers"?

I could be wrong, but from what I read it looks like Goodman was charged later, after the fact, not at the scene, on the basis of her having been there at at the time, and then a warrant was issued for her arrest. She showed up yesterday in response to the warrant, and then the charges were dropped. Still an obvious, heavy-handed attempt at a chilling effect on reporters, but as best I can tell, she wasn't removed from the site while reporting.
