How would you define furries?

Furry bashing. When you can't quite give up punching down but you don't want to upset your progressive friends.

figures that deep R objection to 1/6 committee is rooted in nascent guilt of deep involvement with the insurrection coupled with knowledge that “fingerprints” would be revealed when digital data requests were made available to the committee … expect months of righties, at all levels, crying over the loss of privacy … etc, etc … serves ‘em right …

"The cosplay electors are back! Remember those weirdos whose kink is getting kitted out as the representatives of the winning presidential candidate and then throwing themselves a party on the statehouse steps where they pretend to swear themselves in as electors? They're like furries, but gross and unfuckable.

I don't think Liz was punching down, I think she was saying the fake electors are like furries, because they like to dress up as patriots, but THEY (the faux patriots) are gross and unfuckable. They are unlike furries in other words.

I live in SC, and for years I had high hopes for NC. It's hard to believe they voted for Obama. I think your state decided they wanted to be more like my dumb state for some unfathomable reason.

You barely got Cooper, since the prior shithead governor refused to leave for a while. At that point I think we still had a sane Supreme Court.

Very similar to a lot of anti-vaxxers who are currently in ICUs all over the country, sick with Covid.

Weirdos with a dressing up kink is a stereotype. It's the 'one joke' and it's tired.

Gerrymandering and Jesus. That’s all I can figure. I noticed the other day we’ve copied your “in god we trust” license plates, which for some reason enrages me. Y’all have Charleston and your beaches are much nicer than ours. Mustard is no way to treat barbecue, though.

The dream of reunification?

My theory is that a lot of people from my state migrated to your state, and caused it to go straight to hell.

I live in Charleston, and would agree that our beaches are superior. I hate to admit this, but there is a Bessinger's Barbecue joint that has superb mustard BBQ. The reason I hate to admit it is because the Bessinger's in Columbia, SC did not integrate their restaurant well into the 1970s. Recently, the one near me has started to play nothing but Fox News in the dining room, so I have been going there much less frequently.

Fans of anthropomorphic animals in art and culture. Few people do cosplay, which is a celebrated art form in every other fandom, and only a small fraction of them do anything sexual in or with their costumes.

It's like reducing all comics fans to people who fuck in superhero costumes, or all Star Trek fans to people who fuck dressed up as space aliens.

And kids who just like comics about wolf people are ashamed to tell their friends or family because they'll be marked as sexual deviants.
