I'm for Warren. Full stop. There are very few objections to her that have any credence.

Hubby tried reading me some grim polling stats on Warren, but I am all STFU, I LOVE that woman! She makes my nerdy heart almost as giddy as Hillary.

Armchair therapist here (me) says anti-intellectuals feel themselves to be intellectually inadequate (and it's really painful to feel that and also probably feel powerless to change it) and it's just a fucked up coping mechanism to tell the world that being smart is bad. The question I have is why is America failing so many people, that they come through their educations feeling (and often being) intellectually inadequate? And why do we have the highest prison population in the world? We are failing people, as a society.

Liz got herself a good head, but probably cannot beat Trump. Bernie is a complete non-starter along with most of the other men in the field. Beto came out swinging but he's not really a wonk. We need a wonk. Biden is simply too old school. I don't know if he can beat Trump. Maybe, if he got himself the right VP candidate. Kamala is looking stronger and stronger. Buttagieg is coming along. It's time for a whole lot of people to drop the pretense and pick up the sword on behalf of someone else.

No we don't because if she were to become President, then her Senate seat would be filled in a special election to be held within 145 to 160 days after she vacates the seat. The current Republican Governor, C. Baker, wouldn't just appoint a replacement.
