As further evidence that the GOP really "gets" chicks, House Republicans murdered the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to ban abortions after 20 weeks back in January, which they'd hoped to pass on the anniversary ofRoe v.
There was an article on google news this week written by a woman who had an abortion at 8 months. Her early ultrasounds had been fine, but she could tell there was something wrong as the pregnancy progressed. At 8 months, further tests revealed the baby had a rare condition that caused large holes in its' brain, seizures (which would cause a dangerous delivery for her), and either death for the infant soon after birth, or several years in a vegetative state. She had to fly halfway across the country to the ONLY doctor who would do such an abortion and borrow money from her parents and in-laws to pay him. It was a pretty heartbreaking 1st person account. We pay these fools in Congress plenty to familiarize themselves with the facts so they can make intelligent decisions. Yet they apparently won't even fucking read google.
