Right wingers, with their usual on-target relevance, are pointing out that these five mass shootings in as many weeks have taken place "on Joe Biden's watch." When something horrible happens, blame Biden. The shootings are being done by right-wingers who resent the fact that Joe Biden is President now and Trump is a one-term loser, I shouldn't wonder.
Police identified the suspect in a shooting at an Indianapolis FedEx facility as 19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole of Indiana. Police said Friday afternoon that Hole was last an employee at the facility in 2020. It's unclear whether he quit or was terminated from the job.

Earlier today I was reading about the Concordia University shootings of 1992. Valery Fabrikant was an associate engineering professor who had a history of disruptive behavior. On August 24, 1992 he walked into the Engineering Department carrying 4 pistols and killed 4 people. He took a couple of people hostage. The incident ended when he briefly put down his gun, and hostage George Abdou kicked it away and then jumped Fabrikant. No good guy with a gun ended the horror, just one man who kept his eyes open.
They might have headed off another one in NY today:Ohio teen with AK-47 cuffed at 42nd Street subway station in Midtown: NYPD From what I read this evening on the Twitters, the weapon at the time of his arrest was unloaded, but there was a fully-loaded "magazine clip" in his bag. (I guess they couldn't decide which one they wanted to call it. Either that, or he had an actual clip for a change, which is a little metal dingus designed to let you load your magazine faster.)
Fortunately for the right wing, he has a furrin-sounding name, "Saadiq Teague", so if this hits the news expect to hear a lot of blarping about him being some kind of Muslim terrorist, no doubt. (Even if he's later shown to have gone to an evangelical church his entire life.) I'm guessing the usual NRA fluffers won't be rushing to talk about his 2A rights, either.
