I don't approve of her politics, but she can't be removed for those politics. But she can be suspended, asked to resign or more for reasons of HOW she expressed those politics. This is part of teacher tenure and intellectual freedom, blah, blah, blah. Personally, I hope they can suspend her credential at least and move to fire her. A suspended credential is a tough thing to live with because every time she applies for any teaching job after that and every time she renews her credential, she will have to disclose that she had her credential suspended and explain why it was suspended. Considering that this is the second suspension for the same thing this school year, and only being back for a week, I guess the district is now going to move for something a bit more harsh than just a suspension.
