I have a theory which I just made up, because I'm about to lose a friend I've known for 30 years over Trump. That theory is all of this shit is just being made up to give these people some reason to justify to themselves that they intend to vote to give Trump another four years, even though they know he shouldn't get it.
My friend - a fellow MIT alum - will not defend Trump, and has even admitted to me in the past that Trump's a disaster, but he will repeat every Trump/MAGA talking point about Biden and the Dems without question. He's just working up the rationale for pulling that lever.

I’m waiting for the GOP to attack the FBI, alleging this is PUNISHMENT for the “whistle blower” coming forward about Biden. Just Biden ordering this honest Good Samaritan be executed for exposing his YUGE bribes! If they haven’t yet, they will. There is a story about this lying liar in the NYTs, but it is below a story about somebody I never heard of, that is supposedly private citizen Hunter Biden's patron. The GOP want to investigate him now. So not only have the GOP not lost any credibility with the NYTs, but their latest gambit takes precedence over their failure. Also, too, why are we worrying about private citizen's rich friend and not Clarence Thomas's or Samuel Alito's?
