Did they test with cats?

When Mr. Pat and I were dating, he had a cat named Leo. Leo looked PERZACKTLY like the cat in the pic up top. White and floofy, with orange splashes, and a gaze that said "butter doesn't melt in my mouth, hooman."

Mr. Pat love Leo. Leo loved Mr. Pat. Leo LOATHED me. After Mr. Pat would go off to work in the morning, Leo would often plop heavily back up on the bed and sidle up to me, all innocent-like, until he was sitting right next to my thigh. At which point he would yawn, stretch, and then slooooowly, with great and artisanal deliberation, reach out a paw as though to pat me, and instead SINK. HIS. CLAWS. into my flesh.

By which I mean to say - I am HELLA glad that Mr. Pat never gave that cat a gun!

I am endlessly impressed by how Joe keeps picking people with solid experience in whatever they have to do.

I guess Ted Nugent and Zakk Wylde are among the customers.

Sounds like Batdog, my sister's pitifully ugly chihuahua who hates everyone except her.

I guess I'll need to crank up my MP3 player a few notches to drown out the office weapons enthusiast today.

Left-wing circles I am in are screaming about how gun control is racist, homophobic and transphobic. "Do you WANT black trans women not being able to defend themselves", etc.

When I was married, we had a Chihuahua who loved everybody in the house but hated me. He even recognized when I would pull up in my car.

The term "gun control" needs to disappear. It's a term left over from the Newt era. That word "control" is used by the right because it is a trigger word, causing some people to begin frothing at the mouth.

David Chipman has an impressive resume'. He will not get any republican votes in the senate.

Good to see people are buying into the NRA propaganda.

The best part is that currently, the right wing has the best of both worlds: guns, guns, everywhere AND a policing/justice system heavily geared towards ensuring that a Black trans woman who does defend herself, say, will be convicted with murder and sentenced to longer in prison than her attacker would ever have gotten for murdering her.

Let's not forget that the more guns slopping around, the easier it is for marginalised people to commit suicide. And of course the right doesn't give a damn about the white men killing themselves either. They'll use them as talking points, to win converts and bash leftists, and move on. Meanwhile the rest of us are taking real losses.

Right wing win-win.
