In summary and in conclusion, Biden's aides are finished finding classified docs and modeling good behavior by showing us exactly what you're supposed to do with any classified documents, should you stumble upon some in the garage, yes?

Once again, life imitates yer Wonkette’s art.

At least we might find out his actual name and citizen status though, or at least someone would, probably not we the people though.

Part of it is just the fact that Biden’s team is cooperating instead of lying and obstructing. That helps move things along. But mostly, it’s just politics. DOJ is under pressure not to look like they’re playing favorites with Biden.

Not that such things mattered when Barr was AG.

Garland takes 2 days when it comes to Biden but 2 years with orangehead. FFS how much longer do we have to tolerate this Republican assclown besmirching DOJ?

Acting all Presidential an shit. Who does he think he is?

If I were Joe, I'sd WANT in ivestigation. Since DOJ is an independent agency, hecan't exactly demand one - but surely he can indicate he wants one.

I heard that these were found along with documents for the funeral of his son. Most likely, Biden was working at home during the time of the passing of his son, and these documents were brought to him, but aids did not retrieve them. In Trump's case, I'd bet any money he's sold some to Saudi Arabia, thus the big payday for his son-in-law, Mnuchin, and himself.

Garland appointed an SC for Trump just days after tfg announced he was standing for President in 2024. That was the explicitly stated reason for the appointment of an SC.

So, speaking of assclowns, you might want to check from where you are pulling your opinions.

There were several empty folders at Mar-a-Lago. As far as I know the documents in them have not been located, which sounds like a major problem security wise. But if Trump had just returned the documents when first asked it would be a non-issue for him and Biden. But Trump's ego would not let him acknowledge he did anything wrong and therefore he fought every attempt at returning anything, claiming executive privilege, they were personal papers not government documents, and finally he declassified them mentally. Just another example of how Trump's ego and inability to keep his mouth shut are his worst enemies.

Then they were taken and misplaced long before they were declassified. Otherwise the markings would have been changed.

It's not thar what we did was more important. It's that we were actually trained hold to handle things as a routine part of getting granted the access. I know I had periodic reviews of my background and yearly recertification of my NDA and any understanding of procedures along with notification of any procedural changes. Elected officials don't really get any of that.

There is a difference between losing something valuable (stupid) and stealing something valuable (criminal).

All I'm hearing is that more documents were safely forgotten where rump didn't have the opportunity to sell them or stomp them into classified clogs.

I had a clearance for 35 years, 20 in the USAF and 15 more as a DoD civilian. If you have an incident, the first thing you do is don't make it any worse. The second thing you do is report it. Seems like Biden did more or less that. It never would have occurred to TFG to do so.
