I did not realize that ice cream should only be sold to groups.

Who's more sad; the guy getting Ice cream by himself, or the one going into a bar?

Dude, all this weird gatekeeping about grown men.

The other day I saw one saying it's weird to see adult men using umbrellas.

Why would it be weird for a grown man to go get ice cream?

Have you never been to an Oberweis, Dairy Queen or Cold Stone? Adults get ice cream all the time. I know, because I'm an adult, so I know what they look like. Maybe Clay is one of those sheltered idiots who doesn't know what people look like?

Thanks for the show Seth did a great job interviewing our President who was funny, candid and determined to finish what was started in his presidency. We only need to vote blue now for a second term onwards. Thanks Wonkette for the tag!

Instead the NYT is absolutely certain that the "undecided" vote in Michigan (which was about the same percentage as 2020 and could just as much be people who wish Bernie Sanders (who is 82) were running) is a problem for Biden. That Trump beat Haley by only ten more points than he did in her own state might be more of a problem for Trump. Those voters may stay home in November (and I'd like them to).

Trump's now doing a weird shoulder lift when he's stuck on words or try to articulate. He's also using toes lifts at lecterns to stop that forward leaning stance that indicates advanced prefrontal dementia.

And, even through Schapp's wife's is Mercedes, the usual form is 'Mercy'.

I'm having a hard time . It's like our own government isn't being honest with us. While I know the GOP is lying like lunatics at us, I'd hoped Joe would be at least a little bit more forthcoming. Of coarse I will vote for him but I feel like I'm being played. 30,000 dead Palestinians is nothing to brush over and pretend don't matter. I'm having a hard time defending our government to my grown child. It's fucked up and heart breaking . I really don't know what to think.

Part of this is the administration has been negotiating like mad for MONTHS, and the first rule of diplomacy is to not talk about what your talking about out loud for fear of spooking one side or another. The other problem is that Netanyahu is an asshole, and Hamas WANTS chaos and mass deaths of innocents, so they're not in any hurry for any of it to stop. Meanwhile, Biden has been shifting our stance little by little, which is frustrating to those of us who can't see what's happening behind the scenes, which I am positive is a lot, even if it hasn't been that fruitful.

Because all of this is COMPLICATED in the most frustrating of ways.

President Biden did several things on that program donny trump is fundamentally incapable of doing. He laughed at himself. He talked about something other than himself. He showed human emotion, competence, and warmth. He was likable, relatable, and not insane. I pray to God I am in half as good shape as he is in when I'm his age (20 years).

RWNJs like to gatekeep masculinity. People genuinely like OHJB and hate their idol PAB, so they have to act like anything Biden does is weird and unmanly.

Also, they hate people enjoying themselves.

I was leaving the Post Office and two (male, of course) Mormon evangelsists with their plastic nametags on asked me if I wanted to go to church with them. I asked them ''are you fucking kidding?", and one asked me why I said that, and told him ""because religion is the most destructive thing in the world. Go back to Utah". He said, ''I'm from California'' and I said ''then go back to fucking California, you asshols'. Iwas onle of the most enjoyable conversdations I've had in ages!

The WaPo asks "Should Biden Debate Trump". Absolutely NOT! The only thing that would happen in debates would be that Biden would spent all his time countering Trump's lies, and Trump would spend his time chewing the scenery. When asked, Biden should respond "I don't debate traitors and rapists." He should keep doing these appearances and town halls; IOW, normal folksy stuff.

WARNING: Sappy AF.

This made me love President Joe so much. He's clearly slowed, but the parts that matter are still sharp and he just seems so warm hearted. I genuinely believe he cares what happens to people and thinks in grand terms of where America should go historically, not what his personal opinions are.
