The choices are more like take the vaccine and maybe feel shitty for a day or two (I actually had nothing more than fatigue and a sore arm, and iirc cases like mine are the majority; they’re just not interesting stories), or don’t take it and, given their very public-facing profession, be nearly as likely to get sick for probably days and maybe weeks or months.

I wonder how bad the side effects are on most people, though. To be sure, it knocks a lot of people on their asses; I won't deny it. But whose tale will loom larger in your mind: someone who tells you that they couldn't get out of bed for two days, or my tale of no detectable side effects? People gonna remember the horror stories.

The worst I can report is "I had to drive to the next county and it was a really boring drive!"
