But the problem is that the Republican party is going all in on this, going full fascist in order to solidify thier grip on Trump's MAGA base. By the time this is done, a significant minority of Americans will have abandoned the idea of Democratic elections itself.
Apparently the Washington Post reported, yesterday or today, that Trump is pushing a major arms sale to the UAE, much bigger than what he had previously proposed.
This is all crazy. And we will ultimately prevail as a nation without this mess.
