If I were his mother, I'd be counting the minutes until he got his shit face out of my house, so I'd be both happy and sad that Harvard refused to accept him. But if his academic record is good enough to get him accepted by Harvard, then I'm sure FSU will take him, and then he would not be my problem anymore.
I am SO glad I never had children. Being a parent always involved a lot of sacrifice, and these days it can involve humiliations that weren't even dreamed of when I was growing up.

I remember when all the conservatives were standing around asking the same question after Michael Brown was brutally murdered, said no one ever.

Conservatives judge you by how far you deviate from the default, with exceptions made for public self-hatred (see also: Candace Owens, Clarence Thomas, that one Asian chick). I am one standard deviation from the default (not male). They assume the racism, although I believe their word for it is "freedom." Therefore, I get a pass and deserve to be placed at Harvard.
