A group that advocates for K Street -- the lobbyist lobby, pretty much -- will change its name to remove the word "lobbyist," The Hill reports: The board of the American League of Lobbyists (ALL) announced Tuesday it has recommended to members that the group change its name to the Association of Government Relations Professionals.
It will not be pronounced "A Grope", it will be pronounced "A Grip", as in "we will continue to exert A Grip on the legislative process".
There was a story yesterday that drones may soon be able to make autonomous decisions about who to shoot. I can see how removing lobbyist from one's name might provide a small measure of protection.
