I agree. Starting a war on false pretenses is about as low as you can go. But as far as acting like a president, Dubya was miles beyond Trump. But Trump still has plenty of time to stake his claim as the worst ever.
Reagan got a boost because he got shot on the job. Back then, the Secret Service was phenomenally ineffective at keeping nutjobs with pistols out of range of the Chief Executive.
I'm considered a Boomer, and I absolutely dispute that.
My (slightly-younger) brother and I have had this argument since his band appeared in a PBS thing about Boomers (they played Born to Be Wild because he said they didn't have to pay royalties to play it on air). He swears we're Boomers, and I refuse to buy it. Our parents were barely schoolchildren in WWII, and we knew nothing about Boomer shit like Howdy Doody. We're Gen Xers. Period.
That was a little later, but my little brothers were hard-core into it.In fact, my brother Four-way, (Jeff), was the singer in a punk band, (Suicide King), until a few years ago. Too many Nazis drove him away. But when he was younger, he played at CBGB's and the Continental in NYC.
I really liked that movie when it came out -- I even bought the soundtrack. I recently rewatched it, and although not as fun as I remembered it, it was still pretty enjoyable. And this has to be one of my favorite songs from it.
As a GenXer, I would just like to state for the record that I have loathed Ronald Reagan with the fire of a thousand suns since I was a tiny child in poverty eating government cheese and getting more poor by the minute due to his policies, all through all those years of him knowingly committing manslaughter by ignoring the AIDS crisis, all through the decades of bullshit trickle-down economics that still hasn't trickled and never ever will because it's all based on a straight-up fucking lie, right on up through the present day, and I will continue to hate that racist lying granny-starving union-busting shitbag motherfucking root of all of our present GOP evil until the day I fucking die.
Fuck Reagan. All of this shit traces straight back to him. All of it. Fuck that assbag forever.

Carter has had the most successful post-presidency in my lifetime. Such a decent man!
The songs all range from good to very good. My fav is Special To Me.

He may have been creative, but he wasn't a genius. i think they are pretty overrated.
Carter is extremely underrated as a president.
I don't think surrogates should be permitted in that type of melee.
Ah Trumpers feelings are allowed. Everyone else’s, not so much.IOKIYAR!

Ditto for us Boomers. Ronnie Raygun? Srsly? GHWB was right to call it "voodoo economics." It didn't work then, it's still not working -- c'mon, DTMFA.

Do I HAVE to be a Boomer? Can't we divide it up so I can be something else?
