I'm with abbienormal -- while I miss the pics, I kind of like the gif/tweet/yt free comments. When I want everything, I go to Notes, or to the Chat graveyard. Would be nice if Substack where to embrace Latex markup, though. Or some form of markup. Just no Markie Mark.
Ditteaux. I use Firefox for all my non-work related browsing, and it did *not* like the Disqust interface. So often I'd be left wondering what that big empty white space was meant to convey (while other tweets etc embedded just fine for reasons unknown).
Definitely did not appreciate scrolling past so many embedded tweets and, worst of all, Youtube music videos. Don't bombard me with things I need to listen to! How am I supposed to read this shit surreptitiously at work?
I'd ignore them too, what do you want him to do, sit in the corner and cry quietly to himself while eating ice cream out of the tub? He has to cut through universally tough coverage of his administration, even some of the usual suspects have noticed how he gets treated by the press compared to Emperor Tang.
