I believe it was Kennedy who promised to close awful mental health institutions in favor of opening up community based health care centers. He (or Nixon) did the former but never the latter and bam America got itself a largely mentally hill homeless population.

I do not own any firearms. When I used to work, I sometimes got really, really angry with co-workers, both peers and supervisors. I never acted out any crazy fantasies or revenge plots. I did give co-workers who used tobacco all the free coupons for tobacco products...does that count?

Well, and there's no evidence that he actually DID get all of the hard jobs. Given the other things we know about his personality, it's certainly possible that it was just baseless whining.

I'd add passing laws that result in only one gun store operating in a state, as they've done in Mississippi with its now one abortion clinic.
