Remember back in 2012 when we were all boycotting Papa John's Pizza on account of "Papa John" Schnatter's whole "If Obamacare happens, I will have to charge FIFTEEN WHOLE CENTS more for pizza! Vote Romney!" schtick? Well, as much as many things have changed since then, it turns out that John Schnatter is still a douchenozzle.
Because then they couldn't run nearly constant promotions to save customers lots of money on their pizza. And even then they are making a profit, so greed, I guess.
When I'm stateside, the only pizza we ever eat is the pizza my mom makes with her own sourdough starter and a vegan topping just for me (psst: it's shitloads of caramelized onions, and it is divine). Where in NYC do you get good vegan pizza? Next time I'm there I wanna try something that isn't the (admittedly great, but kinda repetitive after a while) falafel truck.ETA: when I was in college, Friday night was StarCraft night, and they always ordered pizza. The rest of the group ordered Papa John's, but I and the other vegetarian (as I was at the time) ordered from some other place because we didn't want to eat HFCS-saturated garbage. Alas! the local place didn't deliver, or I would have been all over that shit.
I have said this over and over, (just ask my poor wife), I hate that greedy little motherfucker Papa John Schitter. Fuck him and fuck Manning, also too!
Of course, he also cut back his advertising in response to said protests. So yeah, if you run fewer ads during football games, you sell less pizza at halftime. But let's blame the players and Goodell anyway.

There was once a Papa John's in my city. It lasted for at least 2-3 years before going out of business. It got replaced by a local pizza store.
Oh I never bother buying pizzas from Papa John's when they were still in business in my city.
Oh, I can see why.
And a sexual predator.
The house that shitty pizza built?

But he couldn't afford to give his employees health insurance.
There's a few small chains near me that are good. Vito's, mostly, but they don't deliver to me. Sad.

I just wish his pizza was any good so I could refuse to buy it because he is such a douchebag instead of not buying it because it tastes like shit
I have never eaten at Papa John's pizza and never will. I've also never eaten at Chik-Fil-A. Do you see a pattern here?
You haven't eaten at these places because your car would have to keep turning to the right.
Here's something for people to pass along.

Why can't you do both?
crappy pizza...crappy ingredients
