I was just getting ready to post something similar to yours. The sheer irony of those Tillis approved ads. My favorite part is at the end when he and his wife are walking holding hands. Meanwhile he kisses Trumpsky's ass every chance he gets. I remember when the sexting scandal broke, I did a literal shrug because at this point, who gives a shit. It is funny to hear those pearl clutch ads had the opposite effect. I live in a very red part of NC. There are many Trump and Dan Forest signs everywhere, but I don't see many for Tillis. He isn't popular with anybody.
(a) all of us who've been working to remove Trump keep working to press Dems everywhere and maintain our hold in the midterms, and
(b) we break the back of the right wing media machine so 41% of the population isn't just mainlining white supremacist talking points all day long
Both things are hard. VERY hard. But you can't make anything permanent with a constant knife edge majority, and that's all we'll ever have if we don't.
If you want to have someone else split your money among them instead of trying to figure out which one needs your money the most, I recommend both the SwingLeft Senate fund and Get Mitch or Die Trying:
My mom was so sure I was going to go off the deep end, because of that All the stupid news reports against it, that seemed to confuse it with a suicide cult.
The point is that reality dictates that the nomination will be ratified. It's always good to resist, but sometimes the luck of the draw wins. Obvioysly, it will be helpful if Dems recapture a Senate majority, but that might not have any effect upon the SCOTUS, barring an increase in its ranks.
I see, my intent is to make it as difficult as possible for republicans to vote aye (even if it's a forgone conclusion, which I also believe is defeatist nonsense to think that way). And Feinstein being all kissykissy with the handmaiden and her abnormally large family isn't helping. SO I'll call my senators and give them what for.
I don't blame you. However, one of the jobs/talents of majority leaders is whipping the caucus. Ms Pelosi is an acknowledged expert at vote-counting, and Mr McConnell is also pretty well in touch with the mindset of his caucus. Never say never, but I'm also a realist. They claim they have the votes. This is, after all, their main raison d'etre.
I voted last week, dropping off my ballot at the county government center. I went to Track My Ballot earlier this evening, and it was accepted. Yay!
The "master " race

The word "hypocrisy" has no meaning to a republican.
"she was caring for their new baby" Assumes facts not in evidence. Does Melania pay any more attention to Barron than Donald does?
The Onion from January 17, 2001. It was supposed to be satire, but everything they predicted turned out to be true.

"Mr. McConnell" you must be new in these parts.
I always address such figures thusly.
....right, okay.
