i'm wondering if there is some liability issue at play there as well - if they admit the illness is real and they should have done things differently, could they be sued?

The so-called prestige media have all devolved into click farms. The most disgusting part is that their supposedly intelligent, educated readership hasn't noticed.

Why is the Federal Gov't so nice to these state pricks in charge? Thirty days? Too long. They don't need 30 days on a simple yes/no compliance with the Covid-19 Relief monies. Twisting the arms of parents and school administrators--they're bullies. They don't need 30 days to comply.

That will come out. Many people don't want their kids to die before them, and are/will be pissed.

Since when did governors have unlimited discretion on use if federal funds? The feds do not just mail out checks for $10 million and say have at it.

Newsome is not telling you what to do with your kid. He's just saying if you want to send them to public schools, they need certain vaccines. Which governors and legislatures have required for at least 70 years that I know of. You don't want your kid to have a Covid vaccine, home school them or pay for a private school that does not care about their health.
