Seeks odd that a group that is very vocally "anti-gay" seems to prefer "all male" company

"The right is winning over young men, but losing with young women. What should be done to change that, if anything?"

We should stop them from winning over young men.

I bet the 50s nostalgia would vanish right away if we went back to the 91% income tax rate for the top one percent

β€œIdk, young men want to return to a great America. One where God was center stage, they can afford a home off of one salary, send their kids to a safe school, and become well educated. The appeal is more innate to men. To make that translate to women is out of my wheelhouse.”

To get the good parts of the past back, we need to restore steeply progressive taxation and strong unions, to reverse wealth inequality and enable such things as well-subsidized education. We could exhume Reagan and pound a stake through his heart with ritual incantations, or we could just vote all Republicans out of every office.

Can somebody explain what this "based" is? They keep using that word, I don't think it means what they think it means.

Their β€œlogic” that if women don’t have the right to vote, they won’t care about politics anymore - Wtf? How did they even get to that conclusion, and in what universe does that make sense?!

This is WAAAYY more crazy than I was prepared for on a Saturday morning. Fortunately I’m at brunch and have a Bloody Mary in hand

So in other words, they have no idea what appeals to women, they can only think of ways to coerce or force women into doing what they want. Quelle surprise.

I proudly admit to carrying the taint of being an independent woman whose husband of 29 years likes that I absolutely reek of it! We love the smell of feminism in the morning!!

I think it's kind of funny/tragic that they seem to think forcing women back into the home is actually going to raise their wages back to being able to afford being a one income household.

The corporate overlords are laughing all the way to the bank on that one, while the right wing rubes keep voting for the party that opposes wage increases for any reason, worker protections and rights, and basic safety regulations.

They want your wife at home churning out babies nonstop so there's even MORE desperate peons to fight over the wage slave jobs in the future, even though half those jobs are shitty ones that shouldn't even exist.

Is there a way I can arrange to punch this Tim Pool bitch in the face?

I chuckled at the statement "Women typically become deradicalized through the security & safety found in the headship of a good man (whether it’s through their father, husband, older brother, etc)”

Are they advocating incest? I've always wondered whether these Republicans are the types who go to family reunions to find partners. Now, this one at least seems to believe it's the way to go. I would also guess that by "deradicalized" the writer really means "willing to hook up with." These people...if you don't laugh at them, you will cry because of them.

"Propagandize young women with videos about baking sourdough loaves and raising children instead of travel videos where they 'find themselves' by doing ayahuasca in a dirty shack in Peru."

I am reminded of when Ben Shapiro spent an ungodly amount of money trying, and failing, to make his tradwife sister a youtube star.

Just like most of the crappy social values the Right longs to return to, the "obedient wife" is largely a mythical creature. I was a child in the 1950s with a rather large extended family which included many adult women A mother, numerous aunts and great aunts, two grandmothers, and a great grand mother. I can't think of a one of them who would fit the rightwing notion of "obedient wife". All of them were opinionated, outspoken, maybe even "demanding" and definitely ruled their homes. When hubby did anything which displeased them or stepped out of line, they were pretty quick to let him have it with both barrels. At least in my observation and family experience, a subservient woman was pretty much non-existent.

Down side of the internet, any drunken dope can have an audience of thousands of like minded drunken dopes in minutes, rather than just the two buddies swilling beer with him.

"Strong men must provide safety & security for women through honorable courtship and eventually marriage Women typically become deradicalized"

Literally taking the Upside Down message of the Barbie movie as a guide

And I'm shocked at the lack of referring to women as "females" in those incel fever dream replies
