I’ll say this about the next Gen Democrats in office now. They don’t take any shit. Not to shade the elder statesmen in the group, but I love how Leader Jeffries put McCarthy on blast for being a dick to Omar, Swalwell and Schiff and how Congressman Gallego clapped back at Masters and called out Sinema. I like how AOC put the spotlight on that asshole congressman who called her a bitch. They get insulted, they snap back. It’s an effective strategy. Republicans trashed Speaker Pelosi at every turn and were downright hateful to Obama. McCarthy is afraid of Jeffries, and Jeffries isn’t just going to go along to get along like Obama did. He’s a fighter and I love him for it.
Oh, how will she ever fund her campaign with no revenue sources other than the right wing billionaires who will consider it an excellent investment to get a Republican in that seat.
Good man that Ruben Gallego. Even if we lose this race in '24, he will give us a campaign we can be proud of. Also he's our best shot at winning since Sinema is underwater with conceivable demographic and she would lose to a Republican by 20 points. If I lived in Arizona I'd show up at the polls, fill in the box for every other Democrat on the ticket, and then draw a middle finger next to the box for Sinema. I suspect millions of people will all spontaneously do the same thing with their ballots in '24. Here's hoping she drops out and takes that job with Fox News early.
