The GOP will hitch their wagons to whoever draws the most donor cash. He may be a political liability but he's an asset to their fundraising ability, and that's why he'll be their pick.

Please don't make us lose some more so we'll lose so much we'll beg you (like we are now) to stop making us lose along with you.

the youngest voters in the next election were about 10 when he rode down that golden escalator. Those that barely missed voting age in 2016 will be just out of college. as if they haven't been paying attention... but, by all means, ignore them in the run-up to 2024. /s

Republican "strategists" don't understand strategy, evidently.

Is it because Trump is in trouble? Did their icon fall from grace? Is he “losing” now? Lol. They can say this stuff to reporters and hope Trump notices, but they won’t say it directly to him in any meaningful way. It’s a sort of existential crisis for them. I’m sure it’s vexing. Kinda like how having your bodily autonomy government regulated is quite vexing in an existential crisis sort of way. Or like having the government declare you simply don’t exist at all, like with LGBTQ+ people. Very vexing! Or like when you are existing while Black and the government just can’t seem to let you. Also extremely vexing. Probably the solution is to get some tax breaks for wealthy folks.

You can't be in the cult unless you disavow it's a cult. That's one of its main purposes.

I disagree. I believe gop strategists do understand strategy. Their problem is they’re the dog that caught the car and they have no viable strategy left. They’re floundering. Their strategic problem is they allowed the Reaganites to tie the fortunes of the gop to the evangelicals. Now, they don’t have an exit.

If Lyndsey were smart, he’d fall and hit his head, and coop himself up in a nursing home so he wouldn’t have to get involved in any impossible, for him, conversations.
