Dear Republicans, Hey, you won! Heckuva job. I’m sure it must, in between the fear sweats because you actually got goddamned Trump elected, be exhilarating and sort of fun. It must be freeing too, because you can stop pretending to be the party that even vaguely cares about what the founding fathers intended. Just drop the whole “Constitutional originalists” façade entirely and get on with whatever it is you really want to do, which I guess is frightening white people, shoveling money up to the super-rich, and trying to figure out how to get everyone else hooked up to those Victorian stair-punishment machines for being poor, only WAIT NO FREE ENERGY, so do that in a way that also means you get to burn coal and tar sands oil, because you’re not truly masters of the planet if you’re not making sure future generations can’t live on it without Dune outfits, right?
Right now, billionaires are rewarding the faithful with think-tank make-work "jobs" that pay six- seven- and even eight-figure salaries for spreading this shit. We must make that unpalatable. Would Kellyanne Conway have taken her job if she knew her children would then see faked photos of her blowing Hitler every day of the Trump administration? You can't be nice to some people. You get fucked over.
Honestly, I'm just surprised people are actually saying the Civil War never ended. Like, I've lived in the South all of my life and it's pretty damn evident no one here (read white people) ever thought it was over. The fact of the matter is that yes, we're still fighting the Civil War and the problems that were never addressed after the fact. One of my favorite books set in 50s Alabama mentions that after WWII, America entered the Atomic Age while the South entered its Industrial Revolution.
I'd say it's more than slightly given that proportionally speaking, California should have over 200 EC votes for their voters to count the same amount as South Dakota.
It's a nice thought, but you forget that just in 2007 the Repubs created the biggest financial collapse in 80 years and 8 years later nobody seems to remember. There is no accountability. A couple election cycles and all is forgiven and forgotten. The voting public is a group of goddamn goldfish.
No, he won't. They ran ads asking if we missed W yet. When it comes to Republicans, all is always forgiven. The party of personal responsibility doesn't expect it from their own.

Oh, but they're the PARTY OF LINCOLN for ever and ever. Oh yeah, what about Robert Byrd, huh?
Wild applause.
Me too.
You're currently in the 4th stage of grief.
Best life analysis ever!

There's one Senate seat left; if the Dems win it, they get control. So almost no power but something.

Still suits. (nerd pedant)
Don't be fooled by the cute! Bedlington Terriers are still terriers with all that implies about capacity for willful mischief.

I want this printed as a Christmas card so I can send it to everyone I know.
Right the fuck on!
