True story -- I was in a movie with Liza Minelli -- "The Sterile Cuckoo", shot in 1968. I was a college freshman with a non-speaking extra role, walking back and forth in the background. I was paid the munificent sum of $29.15 for 4 hours of walking, and they supplied my wardrobe to look "more collegiate" (scene was set in the early 1950s). And yes, I'm in the finished project.
Less than a year later, I was shot standing alone about 40 feet from the stage during Jimi Hendrix's performance at Woodstock. Made that final cute, too. And also true.
Autographs from a real movie star (me) available for free, if you ask nicely.
At this point, it's the torn up lip as much as anything. I don't understand why they didn't do any stitches, and possibly plastic surgery on it. My lip is completely shredded. It feels like the tattered edges of an old flag.
I saw They Might Be Giants in concert last September, they played one of their songs backwards *live*, recorded it, then played the video backwards after the intermission so we could judge how they did. Weirdest thing I've ever seen.
I've had family in ABQ and I loved it. That's where I got my first tattoo in fact, LOL!
That might be a possibility and might be a place I could talk my parents into going. Thanks for the suggestion!

Liza is talented and hot!
The only "actress" I despise more than Liza Minelli is Judy Garland. I'd almost think they are related.
Did applesauce yesterday. Going for a souffle tonight (yes, they're actually pretty straightforward to make)
It's a staple!
So. Much. Soup.
I was thinking about refried beans and cornbread.
That's pretty cool, actually. I mean just the being 40 feet from Jimi part all by itself; but the rest of it is also great!
During college, I briefly had my jaws wired shut for a surgical operation. I can sympathize...
Happy belated birthday!
Hope you get to feeling better. Nothing sucks like sore teeth.

Frank Talk!
I'm here with goosebumps and joyful tears and grinning so much it hurts.
So many of my favorite things in one clip.
Today is also Mrs Mild's birthday. She's 10 years younger than Ms Minnelli.
