Sometimes we desperately need a Time Machine to bring back people like MLK and Cesar Chavez, people who were impossible not to respect and admire by all but the worst people for their courage and sacrifice for the better of humanity.

I enjoyed some interviews with MAGAts after they got to Eagle Pass. "Derp, derp, doh, this is not what I expected. Everything is calm and I couldn't find hordes of invaders. I feel like I've been lied to!" Yah, ya think?! That tiny bit of enlightenment won't last. As soon as they turn on Faux News to find out why it didn't tell the truth, it will lie again and the warm embrace of bullshit will envelop them again!! 💩

Kubrick made things real creepy with the bear costume oral sex scene, or whatever it is. Does it mean anything that I always identify the man in the suit as an American politician? A Republican one.

That 19-car convoy will form an impenetrable wall between the gas pumps and the convenience store.

And that giant hand in the Maximum Overdrive art is scary! I don’t remember a giant hand!

OMG I'm such an old....I loved that movie even though I was an avowed hippie/nonconformist but stuck for a time in the household of a deep south country boy. Mostly I loved Burt Reynolds and Kristofferson

"Smokey and the Bandit" would have been more believable if they had been hauling beer instead of Coors.

That “Convoy” movie is awesome. It took several days to film the fight scene.

Searched "Super bowl time"

A couple results showing the game time and teams. Then next up is the Top Stories.

1. Taylor Swift plays in Tokyo, next stop Las Vegas.

2. Taylor Swift arrives at LAX on way to Las Vegas.

OK, this is cray cray.

The idiots who organized this nonsense had no idea of the rugged vastness of the border, from Yuma to Matamoros. Why they thought that "truckers" would flock down to their Gymboree is beyond ridiculous. If they're not getting paid, they aren't driving to any "border boon-docker" hootenannies.

Well done! Sitting in an orchestra pit playing Tosca and thinking of moronic truckers! Yes Canadian, here!
