I don't listen to much contemporary music (because I'm antiquated), but the way I look at "the Tay" is that she seems to be a very talented performer who is a steady liberal-friendly presence with a following that puts royalty to shame. There's really no down side here. Imagine how it would be if she leaned in the opposite direction -- as in starting her concerts with a vigorous MAGA! shout or three, or whatever those poor souls do to work up an appetite for the plate of sickening fascist offal they're about to be served by Donald Trump.
