IMO people like Scott, Diamond & Silk (UGH! I threw up a little in my mouth) Owens, etc are the way they are because they would be unrecognized and drowned out if they were liberals. There would be little to no room for them at the table. BUT, by being Black and a contrarian they stand out, since there are so few POC on the right. Now they get a bullhorn, a spot on the stage, a place at the table. I suspect most of them are liberal leaning, but that doesn't get them invitations to paid gigs, spots on media TV, "think tank" jobs, etc. They throw themselves and their people under the bus for attention and a check. Eventually they forget their true selves and become the caricature they pretended to be.
