I think they have to wait until his base turns on Trump. Extreme measures may be needed to convince those gullible fools that Trump is not actually their saviour. He was head of the transition team and as such his deniability is not very plausible on items like being aware of Flynn's pending retroactive registration as a lobbyist for a foreign country. Flynn's lawyers apparently informed the transition team of that pending action weeks before Pence professed profound shock when learning about it last week.This whole administration lies so often and easily that it's hard to believe what anyone of them says at any given time. Timing is pretty critical here . How to get rid of Trmp/pence after Ryan loses reelection or much better gets primaried out since that would be sooner. Well Christie is certainly much more intelligent than Pence and might actually be more concerned about the country than punishing the LBGTQ community and pushing for overturning Roe and establishing Christianity as a state religion like Pence.
