If Trump does a rally at Madison Square Garden, how much of the fees is he going to have to put down ahead of time? That's pretty much all they're going to get.

And is Eric Adams going to make sure he gets a little something out of Trump for all the security he's going to need?

Ta, Evan. PAB is delusional, demented, and a dotard. With very few exceptions, everyone here hates his stinking ass.

Expand full comment

He'll never have a rally at Madison Square Garden because the last thing he wants is pictures of a half empty hall.

I think The PAB would be lucky to get 500 people to a NYC rally. The Smelly Orange Bastard would do better as the half-time entertainment at a basketball game.

My understanding is not quite, but close enough we get a few days of cats as a treat.

Former President Trump!

We the people of San Francisco invite you to rally in our beautiful city, at the venue of your choice!

Curious how many cities are still out $$$$ from the previous times he held a rally, I recall New Mexico turning him over to collections, so hopefully they will deny him any further services... Ditto NYC, because of fraud, double sets of accounting books, tax evasion etc.

I guess someone read to him about how successful Fritz Kuhn's German-American Bund rally was at the Garden in February 1939.

However:

1. A Jewish guy named Isidore Greenbaum leaped onto the stage to attack Fritz, and Kuhn's Brownshirted bullyboys beat the heck out of him. That was recorded on the newsreels. Bad PR move in a very Jewish city.

2. Fritz Kuhn was siphoning off donations to the Bund to pay for his expensive mistress by purchasing expensive jewels. The Internal Revenue Service (then as now) took a dim view of that. They put him on trial, sent him to prison, and deported him back to the Fatherland.

3. Fritz's wife took an even dimmer view of him cheating on her, and introduced him to her frying pan, the living room couch, and her divorce lawyer, in that order.

So I think the Bloated Yam may run into a similar issue. Except he won't flee to Germany, but to his other favorite dictatorship: Russia.

Expand full comment

How does that fleeing thing work? Can he make it on one tank of gas? What if he has to put down and refuel in an extradition country? They just going to look the other way at him fleeing criminal charges or turn him over?

Can he hop, skip, and jump from here to Russia refueling only in non-extradition countries?

Inquiring minds and all that.

He gets in the Trump Jet at Teterboro Airport, has his pilot file a false flight plan, and then, like Wrong Way Corrigan, heads directly to Russia (likely over the Pole) instead of via Europe or Asia.

He could also just walk into a Russian Embassy anywhere in the world and get asylum there.

And the Trump jet can surely make it to Brazil.

But if I click my heels three times and repeat "there's no place like home" 3x, can we go back to before SCOTUS decided to incorrectly hand the election to a war monger instead of Gore? How different our world might be, they owe US a correct verdict this go round and a couple more for interest, our best interests, not their donors interest. 💙

The Supreme Court will do what the Bloated Yam who hired them tells them to do.

Between whatever he and his pals have on their personal lives, and the violent threats they and their families are doubtless facing, they will take cover.

I seem to recall that was one of TFG's many, MANY blunders of the 2020 election. He was holding his klan rallies in states where he was already up 10-12 points, and holding them in states where he was 10-12 points behind and falling. But rarely in a swing state that he could have possibly won. So as always, he was wasting donor money on personal whims, because no one wanted to tell the treasonous failure that his strategery was wrong and bad.

Just peeked at the article and Breitbart sez Trump has "deep ties" to the (NY) region.

I lived in Manhattan when his only "ties" were desperate attempts to join the respectable elite rich in Manhattan, you know, the ones who fund museums and concert halls and Public Television and such.

Pathetic to behold. Trump can't fake class.

Expand full comment

TFG is irrevocably Bridge & Tunnel to the Manhattan elite, being from Queens. [Being from Brooklyn my own self, transplanted to Manhattan as an adult, I can say this. But I don't care about being 'in' with the Manhattan elites.]

But the point is, that TFG DOES care. He thought that they would just accept him with all his gilded apartments and 'billions'. But that's not how that game is played.

He's tainted. It's the braying Queens accent, the crassness, the utter lack of any class, the lack of charitable endeavors, not even trying to buy his way onto boards. He's a cheap-ass piece of crap.

You forgot he thought they'd be impressed with his gold toilet. Also, his Foundation was shut down when it was discovered Trump was using it as a wallet. I believe a trial verdict told Trump to never attempt to form a Foundation again.

`

To be strictly accurate, some (if not most) of the upper uppers have at least one "Frederick Trump" among their ancestors, which is one of the reasons why they fund museums.

I think Ol' Poopy Pants is genuinely baffled why the people he really wants an in with are appalled by him.

For starters, he's both too dimwitted and too egomaniacal to fathom the concept of trying to make OTHER people like HIM.

He's also a sociopath who doesn't think anything he's EVER done is wrong.

It has 100% certainly never occurred to the family who steals from cancer charities to give any of their money away in an attempt to scrub their name/reputation clean (nor for any other reason).

So he pushes his way into their parties like he did at the NATO meeting, and brags about his gold toilet and his mail order escort's "tits", like a twelve year old showing everybody the rubbers in his wallet -- and then goes home, once again utterly baffled as to why the silk stocking crowd thinks he's a classless pig.

MSNBC doing the horse race coverage right now. This is where supposedly serious journalists like Chris Jansing pose questions to their regular panel of MSNBC employees like: "Biden wants to continue to frame Trump as a threat to Democracy because he believed it worked for them in 2020. Do you think that argument works or is Biden making a mistake here?" Because she doesn't know!!!! It's a mystery to her what happened on 1/6!!! It's a real head scratcher! All of this accompanied by a steady stream of photos of trump.

Going to have to turn that shit off.

I am sick to death of how the MSM treats elections as a cross between a horse race and a soap opera.

The closest they come to finding out how, what, and why ordinary people think is to shove a microphone at them for 30 seconds.

These CNN and MSNBC bigshots should be required to commute not in their limos, but on subway systems in their cities, where they can actually TALK WITH their fellow citizens.
