This is a delusion. I have no idea why some on the left are so dedicated to maintaining it - it has a cultish quality of refusal to acknowledge facts that I expect from QAnon.

What do you think the family is living on today? Like, "he doesn't pay his bills" means that all his large staff, his phones, his plane, his multiple homes, heating oil, takeout from McDs - he doesn't pay any of those bills?

The last time he had to report fundraising revenue was in Jan-March 2021. For that three-month period he took in $250 million, or $2.75 million per day.

Even if that has dropped off to, say, $1 million a day, it's lunatic to imagine that he has used one cent of that money to "reduce debt to overseas legbreakers," whomever you think those people are, or whatever amounts you think he owes for what services.

You need to face the reality that Trump's ability to raise mountains of money with no strings attached is on a scale not matched since Louis XIV. He has a shit-ton of cash coming in daily from multiple sources - from idiots buying MAGA hats, from billionaires bankrolling phony business schemes and shady real-estate deals, from the many business enterprises he has been running for years, and probably also from bribes, kickbacks, and extortion. Remember how he refused to sequester or cease his private businesses while in office? Clearly illegal, and we couldn't prevent him? That was not chump change; that was $billions.

Donald Trump’s speech in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Sunday (October 2016), was billed as a sober, policy-minded look at his first 100 days in office.

But the first thing he promised to do after being elected was to sue the women who have accused him of sexual assault.

“All of these liars will be sued after the election is over,” Trump promised. He continued to attack them: “Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign,” he said

Those kids were doomed to be dumb. Ivana was probably the best looking of the whole group, but she went too far with the plastic surgery in her old age.

I haven't seen that! I'm sure it's very good.

I honestly thought she was hideous through and through. Even in the 80s, when I was barely aware of their existence.

She wasn't a bad looking woman, she just had a Eurotrash sensibility - kind of like white trash Trump. If she'd just had a normal haircut and worn normal clothes, she would have been very pretty.

I was being a bit snarky-Colbert's impression consists of pushing his upper lip up so his teeth are exposed, and saying in a nasal voice "Please pay attention to me, Dad!"

I am an extremely tacky person (I actually don't cringe at Trump's stupid house), but I know a bad nose when I see one. You're totally correct that her sense of style didn't help matters.

Did you know that Patsy on Absolutely Fabulous had her hair done to look like Ivana's? I always knew it looked familiar.

Well that's me told.

Trump is a secret galaxy brain and we'd all just best respect his incredible acumen, so there!

Not so secret. Or do you think he fell accidentally into taking over one of the US's two political parties, becoming president, making $billions out of it, and retaining control of it even after leaving office? Not to mention taking the entire Constitution halfway down the toilet in less than 5 years.

I know! He misspells "hamburger" and talks like a doofus! Look at us being all superior and snooty about how low-class he is, go us! He must be stoopid, amirite?

People thought Hitler was a clown and a fool for twenty years, until oops, guess they called that one wrong too.
